Principal Buckley's malfeasance, incompetence and lack of integrity
are staggering and alarming, which brings into question her
position as a school principal and an on-site custodian supervisor.

Buckley's malfeasance, incompetence & lack of integrity include;

Making a derogatory behind the back slur about a parent sitting nearby, in the gym,holding her new born baby.

Wearing inappropriate clothes to school that set a poor example for elementary students.

Snapping at a 6 year old boy asking her a question, bringing him to tears.  

Speeding near children while she was driving into & in a school parking lot.

Carelessly giving out a worker's unlisted telephone number.

Failing to understand parts of simple letters.

Misunderstanding simple in-service day instructions & then refusing assistance.

Running down the school hall screaming at the top of her lungs looking for a teacher.

Displaying very unprofessional, inappropriate and untrustworthy conduct.

Having two sets of rules one for her and a second for others.

Subtracting time from a worker's shift making it necessary for him to work through his breaks then
accusing him of not doing his work.

Accusing a worker of  stealing time when she in fact assisted the school district to steal time from the worker.

Placing a worker in a no win situation, if he did bring things to her attention, she did nothing, criticized him,
attacked him for taking too much of her time or reported that he was complaining. If he did not bring things to her,

Berating a worker as not being a team player.

Harbouring resentment against a worker who suggested that she follow proper procedure & chain of command
by going to the head custodian first on matters of concern after she had by-passed the head custodian.

Asking a worker questions in a meeting then using his answers against him.

When the cultural values of our district, honesty, loyalty,togetherness
           and commitment to growth are considered, Principal Buckley is definitely
           not an appropriate or stable employee for School District #23, especially
           when having contact with young children.
Her back stabbing comment about a student's parent nearby holding her new born baby, malfeasance, distortion of events, false accusations, suppressing a worker's growth, workplace bullying, conspiracy to defraud & her mendacious actions illustrate a lack of honesty & character.

How honest is a Principal that instructs an employee to falsify a time card and to shortchange SD #23?

How trustworthy, honest or loyal, is a Principal that makes a back stabbing, derogatory statement about a student's parent present nearby holding her newborn baby?

Where is a Principal's values for the district with this type of conduct?

What kind of Principal shacks up unmarried & has a baby outside of marriage? Such a poor example for young girls & boys.

What kind of Principal uses two sets of rules setting a poor example for students?

What kind of effect does a dishonest, untrustworthy, double standard & psychotic Principal have on young students?

Custodian Fisher is not alone in having problems with Principal Buckley. There is a long line of parents and staff that have had conflicts with her. Fisher has worked 40 different schools, dealt with hundreds of staff members who often have asked for him to return if an on-call custodian was required. Fellow custodians found him to be knowledgeable, hard working, prompt, reliable and one that really enjoyed his job.
Fisher had many on the job evaluations made by administrators, all positive until he ran into Buckley's distorted interpretation of events.
Comments others have made about Buckley.. dishonest, twists facts, immature, spoiled, pushy, controlling, difficult, phoney, frightening, not qualified & weirdo etc. click on workplace bullying

Principal Buckley was the on-site supervisor given the responsibility for the things that she is complaining about in her April 5/99 letter above. If you brought things to Buckley , she criticized you for that, accused you of complaining and if you did not bring them to her attention, then she said that you were withholding them. One was dammed if you did and dammed if you didn't with Buckley, a no win situation.

Please don't be mislead by this Buckley letter.
Custodian Fisher's concerns about the health and safety affecting young children attending Westbank Elementary School were put forth to Principal Buckley with little or no avail, months before Buckley saw fit to have Fisher fired for blowing the whistle.
Buckley is misleading readers when she states that termination of employment occurred during Fisher's probation period. In truth Fisher had legally passed probation & had attained regular employee status.
Buckley is again distorting the accurate facts, SD23 refused Fisher's repeated requests for mediation. Only after Fisher planned to protest did SD23 agree to mediation.

It should be noted that many many parents stopped to support & thank Fisher for exposing the unsafe conditions that their children were exposed which they said were never brought to their attention by school principal Buckley.
Gary Nylander of The Daily Courier (Okanagan Saturday) took the following photo of students talking with  Fisher. They were not escorted past Fisher as Buckley misled parents in her letter.

Nylander observed & wrote that Fisher spent an hour talking to students which contradicts the misleading contents of Buckley's letter to parents.

Buckley was obviously angry that a worker dared question her actions. It is astonishing that Buckley portrayed herself as a victim of honest feedback without expressing heartfelt remorse over her lack of team work, marking her territory, beating up workers & making them feel like they didn't count. She went on to misrepresent the truth
It is Buckley herself that has made false accusations and offensive remarks.
It is Buckley that has misled Administrators, the Superintendent and Trustees.
With a superintendent like Rubadeau you can see why Principal Buckley is permitted in SD #23.

Much of the problems that Buckley complains about are due to her inadequate knowledge, her inability to understand simple instructions and misinterpretation of events, all of which are illustrated in these pages. She projects her actions onto others.
