1/ Akehurst defied an Arbitrator's order to re-instate 7.5 custodians to full time, 8 hrs/day 12 mths/yr by reducing them to 4 hrs/day, 10 mths/yr
2/ Akehurst admitted making a false statement (EI Fraud) on Ken's Record of Employment (Government confirmed) to set up a fraudulent layoff
3/ Akehurst's Layoff therefore was null & void, for that reason alone the days Ken worked counted as part of his 65 day probation period
4/ Akehurst recalled Ken back to his full time position canceling the layoff, for that reason also, days Ken worked were part of his 65 day probation
5/ Akehurst refused to count those days that Ken worked as part of probation period even after an agreement to re-install Ken to full time
6/ Akehurst refused to honor that on or about July 24, 1998 Ken had worked the 65 days of probation to become a regular employee
7/ Akehurst blocked Ken from reaching regular employee status by refusing to count the days Ken worked upon recall to full time
8/ Akehurst violated the Collective Agreement that regular employees can not be dismissed for reasons of general unsuitability
9/ Akehurst wrongfully dismissed Ken then offered Ken $5,000 to try to stop him from speaking out threat to sue
10/ Akehurst failed to reduce Ken's oversize area to School District 23 regulation footage oversize
11/Akehurst allowed hundreds of square feet of the head custodian's area to be added to the already oversize area Ken cleaned
12/ Akehurst added 52 excessive & illegal days to Ken's probation period, when Ken had already reached a regular employee status 52 days
13/ Akehurst failed to ensure that Ken got to see, discuss & sign off on Ken's Custodian Evaluation evaluation
4/ Akehurst's cheated Ken out of money in lieu of notice, vacation & holiday pay, pension, cleaning times & health & dental benefits
15/ Akehurst conspired, colluded and made false & fabricated accusations to dismiss Ken without cause fabricated
16/ Akehurst falsely accused Ken of time theft (leaving 1 & 3/4 hours early) while it was Akehurst who stole time & money from from Ken theft
17/ Akehurst ignored the lies and distortions of the school Principal & Head Custodian in wrongfully dismissing Ken
18/ Akehurst from his bully pulpit defamed, lied, bullied & harassed Ken an excellent worker
19/ Akehurst threatened to sue Ken if he picketed with signs and spoke out, then offered Ken $5,000 to keep quiet threat to sue
20/ Akehurst broke the law by not allowing Ken a hearing as required by law hearing
21/ Akehurst's dismissal of Ken was put aside by Employment Insurance as being without merit, so paid Ken Employment Insurance
22/ Akehurst caused Ken's health to deteriorate by bullying, authorizing the oversize area Ken had to clean, downloading more area on him,
blocking Ken's access to health benefits, & wrongfully dismissing Ken
23/ Akehurst failed to correct lies, distortions and misinformation placed in Ken's Personal File at SD23
24/ Akehurst obstructed Ken's requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act by delaying or refusing to provide the information

In wrongfully dismissing Custodian Fisher, Akehurst was "malicious, high-handed, outrageous,
reckless, wanton, entirely without care, intentional, deliberate, callous, disgraceful, willful,
exploitative and in disregard of Fisher's rights and indifferent to the consequences.”
Akehurst's reason for the dismissal without cause was that Fisher did not get along with the school Principal & Head Custodian, yet, Akehurst accepted the Principal's lies & distortions of events & the Head Custodian's on the job tyranny.
Any number of the above Akehurst evil & criminal acts, are far more severe than his reason for dismissing Fisher & should have been cause to fire Akehurst for gross misconduct. Akehurst was/is dishonest & delusional.
Most support worker's had Akehurst's number. They cautioned others about Akehurst's sly record of
taking what is said in discussion and twisting it around to mean something Akehurst could use against them
Akehurst is a cruel person short on ethical & moral character
Akehurst made a fraudulent statement on the Record of Employment as the reason for the layoff, yet all workers were recalled to work the next day, worked the entire so called layoff period & all were paid. There was no shortage of work as Akehurst falsely stated on the ROE.
